Solutions Architect (Remote)

JOB SUMMARY

The Solutions Architect position will model the Netrio mission, vision, and values each day, functioning as a guide for daily accountabilities and responsibilities. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing IT, network, and security solutions tailored to our clients' diverse environments. You will leverage your expertise to create scalable, secure, and efficient architectures that meet business requirements and enhance operational performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Solution Design

Develop and design IT, network, and security architectures for on-premise, public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.

Client Consultation

Engage with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals, and provide expert recommendations and solutions.

Technical Leadership

Lead technical discussions and workshops with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of solutions.

Security

Include robust security measures to protect client data and systems, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.

M365 Integration

Assist clients in migrating to and optimizing their use of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

Cloud Integration

Assist clients in migrating to and optimizing their use of other cloud services, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.

Documentation

Create detailed documentation of architectures, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

Continuous Improvement

Stay current with industry trends and technologies, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT architecture, network design, and security operations, with a focus on multi-environment support.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in network protocols, firewall configurations, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and security tools.

M365 Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, CCNP, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and troubleshoot complex technical solutions.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Client-Focused: Strong client-facing skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.

The pay range for this position is $100,000-$125,000 annually and is applicable for candidates who will be working in the following location[s] New York, Minnesota. This range is subject to adjustment for other geographic work locations. In addition to geographic location, Netrio considers education, experience, internal equity, market demands, and other qualifying criteria to determine starting salaries.
