Teaching Assistant

Position:Teaching Assistant (5 positions) Location:Stacy Middle School Schedule:2025-2026 School Year – Hours 7:45 – 2:15 Salary: Per Contract $18.54 – $24.19 hour based on experience & certification To Start:August 25, 2025 Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement preferred; Experience working with students with and without disabilities; Demonstrate the ability to assist in the inclusion and/or Special Education classroom; Experience working with English Language Learners Bilingual preferred CPI training preferred Responsibilities: •Work under the supervision of building administration, Special Education teachers, and classroom teachers; •Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral goals within the classroom, with guidance provided by the teacher; •Communicate and collaborate with teachers; •Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting; •Ability to modify curriculum; •Maintain confidential information; •Collect data on student performance as needed; •Assist students with daily living/self-help skills; •Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed; and •Perform supervisory duties, as assigned by school administration.
