Adjunct Faculty GRADUATE COUNSELING COURSES Position Summary The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach the following courses: CSG 601: Counseling Theories and Helping Relationships (Virtual, Fall 2025): A course designed to introduce students to the theories, skills, and profession of counseling.
Specific attention is given to Christian and non-Christian approaches to counseling.
CSG 602: Helping Relationships Laboratory (Virtual, Fall 2025): A laboratory experience designed to help students acquire the interpersonal skills, intrapersonal insight, and relational aptitudes for counseling.
Other duties include working with the Dean and faculty to make improvements and updates to course content and delivery.
Required Education and Experience * License eligible master's degree in counseling from a regionally accredited school * Licensed to practice independently as a professional or clinical counselor in home state OR at least two years clinical experience providing professional counseling services Ideal Qualifications: * PhD in counselor education and supervision or closely related field * Two years of teaching experience * Fully licensed for independent practice as a professional counselor or practicing psychologist Serving at Cairn University Located in Langhorne, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Cairn University exists to educate students to serve Christ in the church, society, and the world as biblically minded, well-educated and professionally competent men and women of character.
Students earn bachelor's degrees in various areas including Bible, Education, Music, and Business Administration; and graduate degrees in Business, Divinity, Education, Organizational Leadership, Worship and Music, and Counseling.

Members of the faculty are required to integrate biblical instruction in their respective professional subject areas.
