Job Title: CNC Machinist - 1st Shift
Job Description
Join a precision metal fabrication company that specializes in creating parts for industries such as aerospace, medical, appliance, defense contracting, and architectural sectors. As a CNC Machinist, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and efficiency of production jobs, utilizing a variety of machines including Mazak systems. This role involves interpreting blueprints and data, performing routine maintenance, and managing production runs ranging from 10 to 200 parts.
Responsibilities
Set up and run repeat production jobs with quality and efficiency expectations.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines.
Work off blueprints and interpret data from the CMM and manual measurements.
Edit programs directly at the machine and make necessary adjustments.
Handle production runs and similar tasks, ensuring dimensional and visual compliance.
Lift up to 25 pounds independently and use a lift for weights around 50 pounds.Essential Skills
5 years of experience setting up and running CNC Mill or Lathe.
Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
Blueprint reading and interpretation.
Ability to perform machine setup and operate lathe and mill machines.
Programming skills, including G&M code editing.Additional Skills & Qualifications
2 years of experience editing programs at the machine is a nice-to-have skill.
A technical degree is not required but would be beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Enjoy a clean and climate-controlled shop environment with optional overtime of 5-10 hours available. Safety equipment such as steel toes, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required. The shop houses around 100 people, fostering a collaborative and professional atmosphere.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Growing rapidly and sales are through the roof: 50M in sales and working towards 80M\
Bonus structure below. If it's under $500, it gets paid at 60 days. Anything over gets paid at 6 months and a year.
