Job Description

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

We are seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school team in Okeechobee, Florida for the 20252026 school year. This full-time position will support elementary-aged students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

Position Details:

Start Date: July 28, 2025

End Date: May 28, 2026

Caseload: Elementary students

Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday

Setting: Public school environment

Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language services as directed by the supervising SLP

Support implementation of IEP goals

Assist with documentation and progress monitoring

Participate in school-based team meetings and collaborate with educators

Maintain student confidentiality and comply with school policies

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Valid Florida SLPA license or eligibility

Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
