SUMMARY:

The Sales administrator is responsible for the daily handling of all aspects of customer service. This includes the input of customer orders, the follow up, confirmation and status of pending orders, invoicing orders once they have shipped, reviewing the accounts receivable aging of customer accounts, and regular ongoing communication with customers, brokers, salesmen, and various internal departments/employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Respond to customer calls and emails, handle promptly and professionally

Set up new customers in system, setting up price tables, permanent files and order worksheets, and request credit and bank references for potential new customers

Research customer deductions and report to the SA Supervisor and Controller regarding the validity and approval of them

Write up and enter customer orders including the verification of pricing, handle discrepancies, revisions, and confirm the order with the customer/broker, and update customer promotion accruals for amounts earned and deductions taken against them

Record daily sales invoices - cases shipped versus cases ordered, on the Sales Discrepancy report and note any reasons for discrepanciesRequirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience

1-3 years previous experience
