Job Description

Title: Manual Machinist (Bridgeport Milling)

Hourly Pay: $25hr - $28hr

Hours/Shift: 1st Shift - 6am or 7am start time

Location: Roselle, IL 60172

Hire Type: Hourly, full-time (40-50hrs per week)

Job Duties:

Operate Bridgeport milling machines and other manual machining equipment to produce high-quality parts.

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to accurately machine parts within specified tolerances.

Set up and adjust machine parameters, including tooling and fixtures, ensuring precise operation and optimal performance.

Manually machine components using techniques such as milling, drilling, and reaming to meet production requirements.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment to maintain safe and efficient operation.

Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as necessary to maintain production flow.

Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and reduce setup times.

Follow strict safety protocols and quality control procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Experience operating Bridgeport milling machines
