With 35 years of experience, Summit Point Motorsports Park and Training Facility provides Commercial Motorsports events along with customized Security and Emergency Medical training solutions on our 786-acre facility located in Summit Point, WV. At Summit Solutions Group (SSG), we are the mission support arm of the Summit Point Training Facility. As a dedicated US Government contractor, we specialize in delivering comprehensive solutions that ensure operational excellence and mission success.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of our facility. Working as part of a team-oriented environment, they assist mechanics and other staff with tool handling, setup, cleaning, and general facility maintenance tasks.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will commence only if the contract is awarded.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Perform general facility maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs.

Assist in setting up and cleanup of workspace, ensuring efficiency for mechanics and staff.

Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Operate and maintain hand and power tools for various maintenance tasks.

Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use.

Assist higher-level technicians with complex maintenance operations.

Perform other duties as assigned to support facility upkeep.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

2+ years of general maintenance work experience.

Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.

Preferred:

OSHA 10 or 30 certification

General maintenance certificate such as CMRT, SMRP, CIMM, AFE or EPA HVAC

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds.

Work performed indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions.

Exposure to dust, dirt, hazardous environments, and confined spaces.

May require use of protective personal equipment.
