Tractor/Trailer Mechanic - 2-Positions - Shop Environment

SHIFT: Monday-Friday Afternoon Shift

Hourly Rate - NOT Flat Rate

TYPE OF WORK: Fleet Class 7-8 trucks, and Trailers (Box trucks to Semis and Trailers) - CDL required. PM/BIT Inspections and Bumper-to-Bumper repairs (No Engine or Transmission Overhauls).

POSITION: Tractor & Trailer Mechanic

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5-Years of recent shop work, or a combination of shop work and schooling/training.

JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Diesel heavy duty class 7-8

• Trailers (all repairs)

• Brakes

• PM inspections

• All general repairs

• Charging systems

• Transmission-general knowledge
