Job Description
About Radix
Radix is a fast-growing SaaS company serving the multifamily industry with actionable data and insights. Our values-Curiosity, Resilience, Impact, Courage, and Responsibility-are at the heart of how we operate and grow. We believe great solutions are designed with intention and empathy.
As we continue to scale, we're investing in AI-first, cutting-edge architecture that will power the next generation of our platform. From modern data infrastructure to intelligent, forward-looking user experiences, we prioritize clarity, scalability, and long-term value in everything we build.
As our Senior Solutions Architect, you'll be a builder first-helping us shape scalable architecture, secure systems, and smart infrastructure through hands-on work. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, influence key technical decisions, and play a critical role in advancing our platform's AI-first capabilities.
This role is for someone who loves rolling up their sleeves, building alongside the team, and driving architecture that delivers real-world impact onsite in our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters or remote from Austin, TX.
Your Impact
You'll serve as a key partner to engineering leadership-helping us build secure, scalable systems that support innovative, AI-powered solutions. Whether designing how services integrate, improving how we manage and leverage data, or guiding infrastructure evolution, your work will help shape a platform that is built for intelligent growth, adaptability, and speed.
Key Outcomes
Scalable Systems – Shape architecture through hands-on building and collaboration, driving scalability and reliability across our platform.
AI-First Evolution – Architect the systems and infrastructure that will enable increasingly intelligent, AI-driven capabilities across the platform.
Infrastructure Improvement – Guide the design and evolution of cloud infrastructure, security posture, and platform tooling.
Security Mindset – Embed security best practices into how we design and operate our systems.
Integration & Interoperability – Help architect smart patterns for connecting internal services, third-party platforms, and advanced data pipelines.
Engineering Partnership – Work side-by-side with engineers to evolve our architecture through doing, not just designing.
Shared Standards – Contribute to the documentation, frameworks, and practices that help us build well across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and evolve the architecture of our most critical and AI-powered systems.
Support cloud infrastructure design decisions, including scalability, observability, and security.
Help define and implement architectural patterns for APIs, services, data flows, and AI-driven solutions.
Guide decisions around infrastructure growth, cloud usage, and platform tooling in collaboration with engineering leadership.
Build and maintain architecture artifacts that promote shared understanding without slowing teams down.
Contribute hands-on to technical initiatives where architecture and implementation meet.
Stay current on modern architecture, AI-first infrastructure, and security trends-and bring practical ideas back to the team.
What You Bring
Experience
6–10 years in software architecture, infrastructure engineering, or platform-building roles within SaaS environments.
Proven track record of helping teams scale systems while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Experience designing and building cloud-based systems (AWS preferred), including modern CI/CD workflows.
Background in API design, system integrations, cloud security, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Comfortable working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers to make architecture real-not just theoretical.
Exposure to modern AI/ML infrastructure or building data pipelines to support intelligent features (preferred, but not required).
Skills
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and scalable system design.
Experienced in designing data-driven architectures that enable advanced AI retrieval pipelines and intelligent user experiences
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar), CI/CD pipelines, and modern observability practices.
Experience applying security best practices in cloud-based environments.
Ability to clearly document and communicate architecture to cross-functional teams.
Skilled at balancing pragmatism with long-term thinking in technical decisions.
Preferred
Experience in proptech, fintech, or another data-heavy environment.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, serverless patterns, and AI-first architectures.
Exposure to building internal tools or platform capabilities for engineering teams.
Personal Attributes
Curiosity – You love learning how systems fit together-and how they can be improved.
Resilience – You stay grounded and focused through technical complexity and evolving needs.
Impact-Driven – You care about building systems that support meaningful outcomes for the business.
Courage – You advocate for architectural quality-even when it's not the easiest path.
Responsibility – You take ownership of your work and how it impacts those around you.
How We Work at Radix
We thrive in an environment built on trust, autonomy, and collaboration. Micromanagement isn't our style-outcome ownership is. Our values guide every technical decision and architectural tradeoff. You'll have the space to innovate and the support of teammates who care deeply about alignment, quality, and building the future-together.
Ready to Help Build What's Next?
Join us onsite in Scottsdale, AZ, or remotely from Austin, TX - where your hands-on approach, architectural thinking, and collaborative spirit will help shape the next phase of Radix's growth and innovation.
