Other Conditions: Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2025 - 2026. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding. May be for courses during the day, evening, off-campus, and/or via distance learning, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching lectures and/or laboratory classes for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Physics and/or;

Teaching General Education lecture and/or laboratory physics courses offered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in physics or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Evidence of satisfactory teaching ability.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience in teaching physics classes in college, beyond the teaching assistant level.

Demonstrated high-quality teaching in a multicultural setting.

Experience with physics laboratory equipment.
