Day-to-Day as a Salesforce Developer

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions.

Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce configurations, integrations, and automations.

Develop and manage integrations with third-party systems (e.g., custodians, CRM add-ons, financial planning tools).

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.

Ensure best practices for data quality, security, and user access are implemented and enforced.

Support end-user training and documentation efforts in collaboration with operations and training teams.

Stay current with Salesforce releases and evaluate/apply new features as appropriate.

What You Bring as a Salesforce Developer:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

3+ years proven experience in a Salesforce Developer role, ideally within wealth management

Must have finance industry experience (RIA, banking, insurance, wirehouse, fund management)

Must have Salesforce Financial Services Cloud experience

Go-getter/trouble shooter/ability to multitask/curious/dynamic

Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools

Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and platform capabilities.

Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Platform Developer II preferred).

Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Outstanding ability to communicate and work collaboratively

Job Type: Full-time, salaried exempt

Location: This position is located at one of our offices in Santa Barbara, Scottsdale, Lisle, or San Diego. This is a Hybrid role (3 days in the office with the option to work from home 2 days).

Salary: $100,000, plus annual bonus paid in quarterly increments
