We are seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Manager to lead the deployment of Plex ERP for our client a PE backed services company. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end implementation process — from planning and design through to go-live and post-launch optimization. Your primary responsibility is to ensure Plex ERP is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of Plex ERP implementation.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, Plex Systems, and third-party consultants.
Conduct business process reviews and translate requirements into ERP configurations.
Oversee data migration, testing, user training, and change management initiatives.
Establish KPIs to measure implementation success and ensure operational readiness.
Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.
Ensure Plex ERP integrates effectively with existing systems and processes (MES, WMS, CRM, etc.).
Provide leadership during go-live and support stabilization post-launch.
Maintain documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and system workflows.
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of experience managing ERP implementations (at least 1 full-cycle Plex ERP deployment strongly preferred).
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chain, inventory, and quality control processes.
Proven project management skills (Agile, PMP, or equivalent certification a plus).
Familiarity with MES and shop floor systems; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
Experience with automotive, aerospace, food & beverage, or industrial manufacturing industries.
Working knowledge of integrations between ERP and systems like Salesforce, EDI, or WMS platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
