Now Hiring: Commercial Building Engineers – Austin/Round Rock, TX
Location: Round Rock, TX
Pay Rate: $27.00–$32.00/hour (Depending on Experience)

We are currently seeking Commercial Building Engineers to support our properties in the Austin area, with a primary focus on Round Rock. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced commercial facilities environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform operational activities to ensure the reliability of all building systems across assigned properties.
Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems, including DDC and pneumatic controls, plumbing, electrical systems, access controls, and fire/life safety systems.
Conduct general building maintenance, including work on ceilings, lighting, roofing, doors and hardware, flooring, garages, and parking areas.
Maintain accurate departmental records and documentation in accordance with supervisor guidelines.
Participate in an on-call rotation, providing remote and on-site responses as needed across multiple properties.
Assist the Construction team during tenant improvements or capital projects, offering system expertise and attending relevant meetings.
Support Property Management by contributing to budgets, inspections, and maintenance planning.
Respond effectively and promptly to emergency situations as trained.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of commercial building maintenance experience
Experience with chilled water systems and cooling towers is required
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
Reliable, professional, and responsive to on-call needs
