Job Summary
The Proposal Analyst is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop detailed and complex proposals for OEM customers. This role involves working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to create accurate cost estimates, including non-recurring engineering, tooling, certification, and recurring costs.
Key Responsibilities
Support the bid team in gathering technical and operational data for complex OEM commercial proposals.
Compile technical and operational inputs into formal commercial proposals for management review.
Ensure proposals are comprehensive, capturing all associated cost and schedule impacts.
Prepare reports that summarize financial data, including proposal costs, profit margins, and other relevant metrics.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
High attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple variables.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across various stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated business acumen.
Solid understanding of financial calculations, cost compilation, and estimation.
Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.
•Preferred Qualifications
Experience generating and reviewing Requests for Proposals/Quotes (RFPs/RFQs).
Background in the aerospace industry, particularly with airlines, aircraft OEMs, or aircraft interiors suppliers.
