We are seeking a hands-on Mitigation Supervisor to lead by example on the job site. This role combines direct fieldwork with team leadership, managing emergency restoration projects including water, fire, mold, and biohazard events. You'll work side-by-side with technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards and company expectations. Supervise and participate in all phases of mitigation work, including water extraction, fire cleanup, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, and related restoration services
Provide on-site leadership, delegating tasks and guiding technicians through daily operations
Maintain clear communication with clients, adjusters, and property managers throughout each project
Ensure proper use, maintenance, and inventory of tools, equipment, and company vehicles
Complete and oversee timely, accurate field documentation using company software
Assist and train team members to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards
Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency response, including nights and weekends
Be available to travel to support other offices during large loss or surge eventsRequirements and Qualifications
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in restoration (water, fire, mold, biohazard)
Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience in a field-based role
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT) required or ability to obtain
Strong organizational and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
Experience completing and managing field paperwork, including the ability to support your team with documentation accuracy and timeliness
Familiarity with restoration software (e.g., PSA, Xactimate, Docusketch, Encircle) is a plus
Valid driver's license with clean driving record; background check required
Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in challenging environments (heights, confined spaces, PPE-required situations)
