Salary: $75K - $95K annually
Summary:
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of their assigned branch office from the direction of the Area Manager. This includes ensuring the safe, cost-effective and efficient day to day management of Nor-Cal Pipeline Services area locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Compliance & Safety
Enforce company policies, OSHA standards, and safety protocols.
Conduct safety meetings and support audit readiness.
Ensure all operations meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Ensure the field staff have the necessary training, follow up with their quality of work, and ensure that they display the appropriate company image, through on-site job walks, and customer feedback.
Assist in training coordination of field employees.
Operational Oversight
Coordinate daily workflows and manage labor resources to meet service goals.
Ensure accurate execution of standard operating procedures.
Maintain work schedules and adjust as needed for business demands
Develop and maintain an inventory of parts, safety supplies and other items needed for smooth day to day operation.
Communicate with field personnel and keep the daily operation moving forward.
Review job processes and ensure the crews are following all job procedures.
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise, train, and mentor front-line staff to meet productivity and quality expectations.
Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
Support employee engagement and retention efforts.
Process & Performance Management
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements for efficiency.
Identify bottlenecks or issues and lead root cause analysis.
Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as a point of contact between operations staff and leadership.
Collaborate with departments such as HR, Quality, and Maintenance.
Prepare reports and documentation for leadership as needed.
Provide all around support for Area Manager and field staff.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of Nor-Cal Pipeline Services
Fleet Management Coordination
Assist in fleet management repair and maintenance scheduling as needed.
Qualification Requirements:
Experience and Knowledge
3-5 years of field experience in construction, with underground experience preferred.
3-5 years experience is preferred in the following industries:
Hydrovac Excavation
Pipeline Inspection
Pipeline Rehabilitation
Pipeline Cleaning
Vacuum, Pump Trucks
Underground Construction
Oil, Gas and Waste
Qualifications
Valid Drivers License (CDL class A or B preferred)
Clean driving record
Required Skills:
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Adaptable to a variety of assignments and settings.
Ability to communicate effectively with top corporate officials, managers, supervisors, and drivers.
Labor and Union Knowledge
Familiarity with Union labor and dispatching from local union halls.
Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
Technical Proficiency
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Organizational and Multi-tasking Abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and accounts effectively.
