About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planisware Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of Planisware-based Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of Planisware (primarily P5/Enterprise or Orchestra), combined with strong business acumen to align project portfolio management solutions with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Planisware P5 or Orchestra solutions.
Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements across project, resource, and portfolio management functions.
Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable, and high-performing Planisware configurations and integrations.
Define end-to-end architecture and lead technical teams in configuring Planisware modules, data models, workflows, and dashboards.
Work closely with PMO, IT, and business teams to optimize project portfolio processes.
Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Create and maintain documentation related to system architecture, processes, configurations, and interfaces.
Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and leadership to Planisware developers and administrators.
Identify improvement opportunities within existing systems and suggest enhancement strategies.
Drive solution testing, validation, and performance tuning.
Required Skills and Experience:
8+ years of total experience in IT with 5+ years of hands-on experience with Planisware (P5/Enterprise and/or Orchestra).
Strong understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Lifecycle Management.
Proven experience in Planisware solution design, configuration, integration, and deployment.
Familiarity with Planisware scripting, custom views, reports, and workflow customization.
Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, XML, REST APIs, and integration frameworks.
Experience with system interfaces to tools like SAP, Oracle ERP, JIRA, or other PPM tools is a plus.
Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, or other project management methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Planisware certification(s) preferred.
Experience in Pharma, Engineering, or R&D domains is a plus.
Experience working with global teams across time zones.
