Maintenance Mechanic Electrician

Job Description

Must have strong experience in:

Troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility assets.

Installation of new and used equipment, ancillary machinery, and fixed building assets.

Troubleshooting and repair of electronic machine components and systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service (preventative maintenance and unscheduled corrective repairs).

DC and VFD drive programming/setup/troubleshooting.

Control panel modification and system upgrades.

Performs mechanic repairs including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and productions machines.

Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

High school diploma or equivalent, or technical schooling required.

Technical training; exposure to high-speed equipment.

5 plus years of related experience in packing machines/production machines and industrial 480V-3PH electricity.

Must have competent English verbal and written communication skills to communicate with and comprehend work instructions.

Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for work orders (selection and completion).

Light to moderate physical effort required involving lifting, pulling, pushing and bending. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the facility.
