Pay: $43,000 – $47,000+ per year (based on experience and certifications)

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pest Control Technician with a current Certified Applicator License and having a termite certification who’s ready to make a career out of helping customers live pest-free. If you are already in the field or looking for a better company that values its technicians, we want to hear from you. You would be taking over an existing route in which if you can sell-add on service, bring in new customers by leaving our business card in the service aras you work in neighborhood or preventive or corrective termite services you can make a flat rate commission on each you bring in. Flat rate Commission is based on the cost of the service. This is an added way to make extra money. Work for a structured company who supplies all you need to be successful for your routed customers. Currently a 'sweet' route is ready for you to take over. Its routed smart, so there is less windshield time on most days. Service areas will be Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Florence, Coolidge, Gold Canyon, Mesa. On light days you will be given add- on services to perform.

What You’ll Do:

Perform pest control treatments at residential and commercial properties

Diagnose pest issues and apply appropriate treatment methods

Handle equipment, chemicals, and materials safely and responsibly

Assist with Termite Service when scheduled

Saturday Availability. Available 2-3 Saturdays per month is required, as needed. You would be notified in advance when Saturday work is scheduled. A 30 day notice is required if you need a particular Saturday off

Communicate clearly with customers and provide exceptional service, be respectful at all times while on property, provide a helpful attitude with concern and readiness to build on a solution.

Walk and work in rough terrain, rock landscaping, and high outdoor temperatures

Complete service reports and follow compliance standards

Maintain your Applicator License in good standing

Must have basic math skills to understand how to mix. We do provide you with a refresher on this

Understand and know how to perform a spill kit. We do provide you with a refresher on this

Attend a get-together meeting on scheduled 5th week of each month TBD at beginning of every month. We use this time to check in on you as our valued employee, make sure all your equipment and vehicle is sound. Use this time to express anything about your route or offer up any recommendations. We are always open to listen, though we do run a very structured process.

Properly maintain a company service truck, reporting any issues in a fast and timely manner

Responsible for keeping our service vehicles maintained, clean and safe our service vehicle which is used only during work hours

Successful candidates for this position will be required to pass a pre-hire drug screening as well as ongoing random drug screening. You must be drug-free due to safety concerns.

What We’re Looking for:

Certified Applicator License (required) in pest and termite is a plus and closer to higher range in salary

At least 1+ years of professional pest control experience needed

Bring a can-do and positive outlook each day and a kind smile.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (provide a current MVDAZ driving report)

Must have High School, GED

Work with integrity and professionalism as you represent Scorpion King Exterminating

Customer Service friendly a must. You communicate effectively with customers, proactively addressing questions and concerns with treatment applications

Comfortable working independently and managing daily route on company tablet using FieldRoutes software

Physically able to walk long distances, lift equipment 50-70 lbs on back for short periods of time and work outdoors in the heat/must love to be outdoors.

Positive attitude and genuine interest in the pest control industry, willing to learn more or share what you have learned

Termite certifications and additional licenses are a plus

You are capable of safely using application equipment, inspection equipment, small hand tools, and small power tools.

You are capable of measuring accurately with measuring wheel when needed.
