Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required.

Engage in a meaningful role as a Sign Language Interpreter within a K-12 educational setting, located in Joliet, IL. Qualifications:

Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (such as NIC or state-specific certification)

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and culturally petent in deaf culture

Experience interpreting in K-12 settings preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and students

Knowledge of educational terminology and concepts
