Job Description
We're looking for a hands-on and motivated Automation Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for keeping our automated systems and stamping equipment running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You'll work with advanced technology-including PLCs, robotics, and HMI/SCADA systems-as well as various types of stamping presses.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and working with both mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment such as stamping presses (mechanical, hydraulic, servo), PLCs, robotics (FANUC, KUKA, ABB), HMIs, conveyors, and other automation systems.
Key tasks involve:
Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting
PLC and robotic programming/adjustments
Die changes and press maintenance
Equipment installation and calibration
CMMS use for work orders and inventory
Collaboration with engineering/production for continuous improvement
Adhering to safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma (technical certification preferred)
3-5 years in manufacturing maintenance (automation & stamping)
Proficient in electrical systems, PLCs, robotics, schematics, and CMMS
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
Willingness to work rotating shifts and handle physical tasks
