Job details: Role: Senior DBA(PostgreSQL/Oracle) Location: Miami, FL (On Site) Term: 12 Months Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Senior Database Administrator with strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL (5+ years) and Oracle Database (5+ years). This is an onsite position locally to Miami, Florida for someone with deep expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, backup/recovery strategies, and database security in Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and manage PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.

Perform backup, recovery, and high availability setups.

Tune and optimize database performance and queries.

Enforce database security policies and conduct audits.

Design schemas, stored procedures, and collaborate with application teams.

Provide support and troubleshooting for complex DB issues.

Document procedures, issues, and resolutions clearly.

Requirements: 7+ years of total DBA experience.

5+ years in PostgreSQL and Oracle.

Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle replication, HA, and disaster recovery.

Skilled in SQL, PL/pgSQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.

Automation experience using job schedulers.

Proficient with Linux/Unix and shell scripting.

Can start immediately.

Valid driver’s license.

Accept a background check.

Authorized to work in United States.

Preferred Qualifications: PostgreSQL and/or Oracle DBA certifications.

Familiarity with tools like pgADmin and OEM.

Experience with Oracle 19c Multitenant and MySQL are a plus.
