Full Time Sign Language Interpreter Contract (SLI) - Near Downers

Job Description

Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required.

Youll interpret classroom instruction, support communication between staff and students, and help foster a successful learning environment. Must hold valid Illinois credentials.

Candidates without proper education licensure cannot be considered for positions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language ( ASL) or Educational Interpreting

Must hold an active SLI National Certification

Certifications: EIPA, RID, and NIC : EIPA: Educational Interpreter Performance Assessments

School Systems look for scores between 3.0 - 4.0

RID: Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf
