Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Full time, year-round position

Job Responsibilities:

Generates complete “Bills of Lading” for shipments

Verifies pricing on purchase orders to the match the invoice

Loads and unloads trucks

Builds wooden crates for aircraft parts

Obtains rate quotes from various shipping companies

Drive and operate forklift

Packages items securely to avoid shipping damages

Invoices outgoing shipments

Qualifications and Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

1-2 years of experience working in shipping and receiving, inventory management a plus

Experience with commercial documents for international shipping

Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook

Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills

Regular and punctual attendance

Enjoys working independently while still contributing to the overall team and self-motivated

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift & move up to 70 pounds

Willing and able to work in all weather conditions outdoors

Comfortable with long periods of standing and walking
