Job Title: Plastic Injection Mold Operator
Job Description
Join a team dedicated to manufacturing essential plastic parts for medical products, such as mouthguards and hard plastic cases for gaming systems. As a Plastic Injection Mold Operator, you will operate both automated and manual injection molding machines to produce high-quality medical components. Your role will involve performing trimming and visual inspections to ensure product standards are met. You will work primarily in a cleanroom environment, where gowning is required, and handle medical documentation.
Pay: $18-20
Responsibilities
Operate automated and manual injection molding machines to produce plastic medical parts.
Perform trimming and visual inspections to maintain quality standards.
Work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to gowning requirements.
Conduct medical documentation tasks.
Operate small equipment including sealing machines, packaging machines, folder machines, and sonic welders.Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing and assembly processes.
Knowledge of injection molding and plastic production.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
Attention to detail and strong communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfort working with repetitive tasks.
Trainable attitude and ability to follow detailed instructions.

Work Environment
The work environment is laid-back yet highly focused on quality, primarily in cleanroom settings. The air carries a distinct plastic scent, so sensitivity to smells should be considered. Employees engage in repetitive work that demands attention to detail. Shift options include early morning, afternoon, and night shifts, with variations in hours and shift differentials. Current schedules have been modified for alternating eight-hour weeks, avoiding Sunday shifts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
