We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join our client's dynamic team in Rogers, Arkansas. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance expert who is eager to contribute to the organization’s growth and is prepared to advance into a Controller role in the future. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage financial operations effectively and drive process improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate month-end close processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within financial systems to reduce inefficiencies.
• Implement and maintain automated controls to replace manual processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including M& A groups, to integrate newly acquired entities seamlessly.
• Lead efforts to streamline month-end close timelines and improve reporting accuracy.
• Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and financial reconciliations.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to accounting team members, fostering growth and development.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive continuous transformation within the finance function.
• Ensure compliance with public company reporting standards, including preparation of Form 10-K and Form 10-Q.
• Facilitate change management initiatives to align financial operations with organizational goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA highly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting leadership experience in a large, company
• Experience working in a public company environment
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
• Expertise in cash management, treasury operations, and financial reconciliations.
• Strong technical skills, particularly in financial reporting and process optimization.
