Job Title: Lathe Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation of CNC machines, maintain safety protocols, and continuously improve work methods. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential.
Responsibilities
Notify supervisor of abnormal situations for corrective action.
Make recommendations for improvements in methods of performance of work.
Maintain good housekeeping conditions and enforce safety practices.
Complete and maintain any required documentation.Essential Skills
Strong Geometric Dimensional & Tolerances, and math skills.
Ability to interpret machining CNC programs with a basic understanding of common 'G' and 'M' codes.
Experience with Siemens controls for lathe machine tools.
Understanding of basic tabletop gauges – micrometers, calipers, and bore micrometers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferably out of trade school or AJAC with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Experience in manual machining, including manual mill/lathe.
Troubleshooting skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Organization and time management skills.

Work Environment
Work in an Aerospace Machine Workshop operating Mori cell CNC Machines. Available shifts include Sun-Thu (overnight), Mon-Fri (afternoon), Mon-Thu (day), and Fri-Sun (day) with flexible hours. Enjoy a professional environment focused on precision and quality.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
