Production Scheduler

Catalyst Nutraceuticals has been one of the fastest growing manufacturers in dietary supplements. We are looking for an Production Scheduler to join our team and be a contributing part of our tremendous growth!.

Position Summary:

This position will support the Planning and Production scheduling operation at the Buford Ga. location by ensuring accurate planning and production scheduling. This position will work with the operations team to maximize peak efficiencies while supporting the needs of our sales force in their effort to provide on time delivery of customer orders.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a good Planning horizon (expectation) for Ga plant

Maintain a 72 hour locked schedule for the facility

Understand the capacities and demands of each department

Identify raw material and packaging component shortages that could affect scheduling and manufacturing.

Be proactive in recognizing problems, communicating important issues and finding reasonable solutions.

Regularly communicate with Sales and Operations on any potential issues

Qualifications:

College grad preferred

Proficient in excel

Ability to multi-task

Perform duties of the position with minimal supervision

Attention to detail and accuracy is an absolute must

Ability to work and communicate with a diverse group of people

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A highly customer service-oriented mindset and “can-do” mentality.

Technical:

Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

Good working knowledge of Word & Access and a comfort level of learning new system
