Required Qualifications:

Associate degree in computer science, software engineering, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.

Strong customer service focus, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Experience with C#, JAVA, C++, or similar object-oriented programming language, and SQL language experience with MS SQL or other RDRMS.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new and enhance existing applications using PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, C#, JAVA, and other PeopleSoft tools and IDE/programming languages, and create related functional/technical documentation.

Provide technical and business analysis to support requested applications/modifications.

Answer helpdesk calls and assist end users with software-related issues.

Attend departmental and user-related meetings and collaborate in teams for software development.

Other duties and special projects assigned and directed by the President and/or the designee.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Knowledge of computer applications, principles, practices, and procedures of state-of-the-art data processing.

Be capable of understanding and following moderately complex instructions and collaborate effectively throughout the College community.

Must have the ability to learn new methods, procedures, and operations.

Skills in analyzing systems, writing code to modify, integrate, and maintain computer applications.

Skills in compiling, testing, debugging, and documenting applications.

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX is also desirable.
