Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities: * The Payroll Manager will oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including guiding and supporting payroll staff * Review and reconcile payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance * Maintain and audit payroll data, including timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and employee status changes * Collaborate with the HR team to verify and update employee information in the payroll system * Perform or support the processing of biweekly (or periodic) payroll cycles as needed * Ensure proper payroll coding, mapping, and reporting, especially for complex or multi-departmental structures * The Payroll Manager will address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner * Support audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives related to payroll operations* Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, UKG, etc.) * Previous payroll oversight or team lead experience * Familiarity with payroll compliance and labor laws * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Experience in a nonprofit or similarly structured organization (preferred but not required)
