Whitestone Associates, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company and leading provider of environmental and geotechnical engineering and consulting services throughout the eastern US, is currently recruiting for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This is a tremendous opportunity for experienced candidates to join and contribute to the growth of a 100% employee-owned, engineering firm.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geotechnical Engineer with 0-3 years of experience to join our team. This position involves geotechnical investigations, engineering, and on-site inspections including field investigations by means of drilling, test pit investigations and other in-field sampling methods.

Responsibilities:

Conduct geotechnical investigations, including site visits, soil sampling, and laboratory testing, to assess subsurface conditions;

Conduct field inspections and monitoring during construction to ensure compliance with geotechnical design recommendations and material specifications;

Prepare geotechnical reports, including data interpretation, analysis, and recommendations, to communicate findings to clients and project stakeholders;

Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and construction specifications related to geotechnical engineering;

Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to geotechnical engineering, and apply this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;

EIT certification is highly preferred;

0-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, including field investigations, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analysis;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze geotechnical data;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to clients and project teams;

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; and

Professional certifications a plus (ACI, ICC, etc.).

Benefits:

The estimated range for this position is $60,000-$80,000
