Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This position involves designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, identifying deficiencies, and recommending improvements to enhance product functionality and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement detailed testing plans, including functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools such as Atlassian Jira.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.

• Create and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline and improve the testing process.

• Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality management plans and best practices.

• Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.

• Support backend and Android development teams by validating and verifying system performance and functionality.

• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies to provide updates on testing progress and identify potential risks.

• Perform A/B testing to evaluate and optimize product features and performance.

• Review business requirement documents to ensure all testing requirements are adequately addressed.• Proven experience with automation testing frameworks and tools.

• Proficiency in bug tracking systems such as Atlassian Jira.

• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in software development.

• Experience with backend development and Android application testing.

• Familiarity with conducting audits and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

• Knowledge of A/B testing techniques and their application in product optimization.

• Ability to create and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including regression and integration testing.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
