Job Summary:
The Ticket Operations Associate main duties include selling tickets to guests as well as troubleshooting any ticketing issues that guests have when they approach the box office. They will also assist customers with general venue information (i.e. upcoming events and ticket availability) in person or on the phone. The Box Office needs vary widely depending on the event.
Primary Job Duties:
The Ticket Operations Associate will have daily responsibilities, without limitation, to include the following:
Sell tickets from the box office for events at State Farm Stadium
Answer guests questions regarding tickets, the stadium, upcoming events, etc.
Assist with accessing mobile tickets for all games and events
Troubleshoot mobile ticketing issues for guests at the box office
Provide customer service to guests having ticketing issues with purchases that they made from 3rd party ticketing sites (any site that is not our ticketing partner, SeatGeek)
Ticket resolution when guests are sent back from the gate
Handle will call for the few events that give the paper ticket option
Work the general phone line to provide the same customer service to fans that we provide at the box office in person
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: High school diploma, or equivalent experience required, continuing education preferred
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in guest support, client services, or equivalent experience
Must be able to stand and/or exert well-paced mobility for periods for 10-12 hours in length.
Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests and address their needs.
Coachable and growth mindset.
Strong verbal communication skills to convey information and recommendations effectively.
Bilingual language skills preferred but not required.
Availability to work most of the third party events.
Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities that require strong time management, organization, and prioritization.
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
Collaborative and team oriented.
Able to maintain confidential information.
Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds on a regular basis.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may vary depending on business needs.
Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
