The intern on the program team assists staff in delivering high quality programming to girls in Tarrant County Schools. As per Girls Inc. mission, inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold. The intern will gain experience in group facilitation with diverse populations, program planning, program implementation and evaluation, data entry, record keeping, networking with community partners and non-profit organizations, and interpersonal and time management skills. This is a part time, unpaid internship.Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in progress (education, child development, or related field preferred)
· Experience or willingness to work with individuals of diverse populations
· Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with program participants, parents/guardians, and professionals
· Strong emotional intelligence with a passion for working with diverse groups, good judgement, and professional behavior
· Regular, punctual attendance and attention to all responsibilities
· Confidentiality in dealing with participant and organizational information
· Ability to follow directions, guidelines, and policies/procedures
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant technology (Google Docs, Canva, and Adobe)
