WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
High School diploma or equivalent
Certification by the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC)
Ability to work well independently and with other management/personnel
Excellent communication skills
1 year of DME or orthotic or prosthetic clinical experience preferred
Outstanding customer service skills
Durable Medical Equipment experience
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Answer incoming phone calls from customers
Interview and evaluate customer's orthotic needs.
Measure and fit, discuss therapeutic goals, discuss donning and doffing of product and wear and care of product(s) to customer.
Determine which item as well as the manufacturer to order from.
Excellent documentation skills of customer's history and visit to orthotic department.
Update skills by attending conferences, seminars, and in-house in-services.
Requisition products for the orthotic department on an as-needed basis based on customer demands.
Maintain, set mins/maxs and cycle count inventory levels to meet the demands of customers.
Periodically responsible for traveling to and covering locations when requested by management. Home office may change based on staffing needs.
Additional duties as assigned by management.
