Position Overview: As an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant at “APDO”, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients. Your professionalism, exceptional customer service and communication skills, and attention to detail will be vital in upholding our reputation for high-end orthodontic care.

Assisting orthodontists during patient appointments

Fit bands for appliances, place arch wires, bond brackets, place fixed retainers, take impressions and digital scans (iTero)

Patient education on care orthodontic instructions

Practice wide monthly bonus structure Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.

DANB x-ray certification required. In certification process is acceptable.

Experience working in an orthodontic setting is a plus but not required.

Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with children and parents.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping young patients have positive dental experiences.

Familiarity with dental software for charting and record-keeping.

Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
