What are the core responsibilities for the role?

Draft and design municipal projects and transportation projects

Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers

Prepare plans and layouts generated in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Produce accurate output with a keen eye for aesthetics

Manage project data files and AutoCAD Civil 3D templates and standards

Be proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely

Be enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-disciplined to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

Advanced skills using AutoCAD/Civil 3D; experience with Microstation a plus

Experienced in detailing plan and profile, drainage, grading, utilities, broadband, and associated items

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally

Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities

Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment

10-25 years’ professional experience utilizing AutoCAD/Civil 3D
