The Manager of Aerospace Business Development at PTI Technologies is responsible for overseeing the entire sales process for Aviation/Aerospace OEM customers, both domestically and internationally. This includes direct engagement with customers and sales representatives to achieve defined sales goals while preparing accurate orders and sales forecasts. A key aspect of this role is to support the Vice President of Business Development in formulating corporate and marketing strategies aligned with the company's objectives. Candidates should have 5-8 years of relevant experience in the Aviation/Aerospace sector, showcasing leadership and technical sales capabilities.
In this role, you will identify new market opportunities, drive customer relationship management, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Essential duties involve negotiating contracts, managing project timelines, and ensuring consistent operational performance to establish PTI as the preferred supplier in the industry. This position is pivotal in fostering robust business growth and maintaining exceptional client relations.Are you the Manager of Business Development we're looking for?
To succeed as the Manager of Aerospace Business Development at PTI Technologies, candidates must bring a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is strongly preferred, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience in Aviation/Aerospace OEM technical and sales roles. Proficiency in reading and interpreting business documents, reports, and regulations is essential, as is the ability to write comprehensive business correspondence and procedural manuals. Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software are required for effective customer management. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are crucial, enabling the candidate to engage with managers, clients, and the public effectively.
The ability to speak a foreign language is a plus. Candidates should be adaptable, capable of working independently, and ready to travel up to 25% for client meetings, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.Will you join our team?
