DESCRIPTION:

Highly acclaimed and popular destination restaurant in the heart of San Francisco is seeking a passionate and dynamic General Manager to lead the team in creating unforgettable guest experiences in an upscale, fast paced environment. This position requires a passionate leader who loves to motivate and develop teams, excels at multi-tasking, and has a keen eye for systems, operational efficiency and financial management. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of both General Manager and Assistant General Manager positions, offering a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the General Manager, youll serve as the driving force behind our restaurant's daily operations, team leadership, and guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities of oversight will include:

Leadership & Team Building

Recruiting, Onboarding, Training & Development, Staff Education

Staff Mentorship & Performance Evaluations

Operations Management, Scheduling, Inventory, Cost & Revenue Management

Ensure Adherence to Health & Safety Regulations and Company Policies

Manage Reservations, Guest Flow, and Service Standards to Deliver Seamless Dining Experiences; Maintain Reliable & Dynamic Floor Presence

Analyze Financial Reports to Identify Opportunities for Cost Reduction and Revenue Growth

Assist with Planning & Execution of Private Events

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in a high-volume, fine dining or upscale casual restaurant.

Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost controls, and P&L management.

Proficient in POS systems (e.g., Micros, Toast) and reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable, Resy).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.

Bilingual skills (preferred but not required).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Competitive Salary, $110k-$120k DOE
