Primary Functions:
Curbell’s Internship Program provides students the opportunity to gain practical, challenging and meaningful on-the-job work experience. The internship experience varies depending on the department, but all offer a unique opportunity in the corporate work force for high school, undergraduate and graduate students. From the start, interns are challenged to demonstrate their strengths and apply their knowledge to help us achieve our business strategy.
Curbell Inc. has a Plastics Purchasing Internship available for the Summer of 2025 (June - Middle of August).
Core Projects:
Re-Evaluating Suppliers- Contacting suppliers for up to date certificates and surveys
P.O. Confirmations– Verification of vendor invoices which includes matching to purchase orders
General Purchasing duties – Review credit card statements and match up with purchasing records
Job Requirements:
Pursing a degree in procurement related area of study
Some negotiating skills and computer skills - Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience with SAP or related system a plus
Available approximately 20 - 40 hours per week
Local candidates are preferred

Compensation and Benefits: Curbell interns are offered a flexible schedule to work around college classes and workload. In addition to the experience, interns are compensated and additionally the company will also assist students with credit bearing course completions.
