JOB SUMMARY:
Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is looking for a Manager to lead our Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). In collaboration with the Director of Programs and Agency Partnerships, you will be responsible for driving the development of strategies to build the program to meet the growing senior need in central Ohio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as primary contact with CSFP partners offering technical assistance, capacity building, support and guidance.
Monitor CSFP partners to ensure they operate according to regulations and guidelines set by MOFC, Feeding America, Ohio Association of Foodbanks, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Develop and lead programming that increases senior delivery services (Amazon Flex) and improve data tracking (CSFPTrak) of senior program outcomes.
Expand administrative oversight of the CSFP program within our partner network from one county to all counties in our service area.
Implement volunteer delivery program to assist in areas where Amazon Flex is not able to deliver.
In collaboration with Director of Programs and Agency Partnerships conduct surveys with program partners and customers to better understand the needs of the communities and populations served through CSFP program initiatives.
Provide program information and statistics to Director of Programs and Agency Partnerships on time and in the proper reporting format.
Work with food sourcing, warehouse and orders teams to ensure food for CSFP is ordered, staged and made available to program sites in a timely manner and according to program standards (accurate orders & quality product).
Travel regularly within MOFC service area to visit existing and potential program sites
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educations and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Must have a valid driver's license and be willing and able to successfully complete Food Safety Training (provided by MOFC).
Experience: Three to five year's experience working in a social service or non-profit capacity is preferred.
Skills/Competencies: Must be a self-directed person with proven success for reaching set goals with minimal direction. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Willingness to adjust to changing priorities. Good interpersonal skills. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office applications and comfortable entering and extracting information from database utilities. Candidates must represent MOFC with professionalism when interacting with clients, volunteers, community members and staff.
JOB CONDITIONS:
This position is fully remote and requires significant time spent traveling to partner agencies and area meetings in our 20-county service area. Reliable transportation is required.
