WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a PACU Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a renowned Surgery Center in Ridgefield, CT.

Job Function:

Day Shift.

7am -3:30pm.

Ask patients about their health for diagnosis and document symptoms and medical history.

Identify changes in symptoms and intervene in emergency situations.

Administer medications, draw blood, and give vaccinations per guidelines.

Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, breathing, blood pressure) and maintain accurate records.

Stay current on developments, regulations, drug therapies, equipment, and treatment procedures.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Current RN license for the state of employment (or willingness to obtain).

2 years of PACU RN experience required.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
