Software Engineer (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Job Description

CHOOVIO Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer for immediate hire to join our team in developing a robust SaaS platform to support our expanding IoT product ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-impact project that will serve as the backbone for remote sensor management, analytics, and customer interaction.

Whether you’re a recent graduate or a self-taught developer with real-world experience, we’re looking for someone with a proactive mindset, a strong foundation in software development, and the ability to collaborate and build quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of our new SaaS-based platform for IoT device and data management.

Build intuitive frontend interfaces and scalable backend architecture.

Integrate APIs, databases, and IoT device data pipelines into the SaaS platform.

Collaborate with our team to improve platform functionality, user experience, and overall performance.

Help troubleshoot and resolve bugs, connectivity issues, and integration challenges.

Technical Support for the platform.

Required Qualifications:

Basic understanding of programming languages: JavaScript, Python, PHP, or similar.

Working knowledge of SaaS platforms, web application architecture, and API integration.

GitHub basics required: cloning repositories, pulling updates, branching, and pushing changes.

AWS experience (IoT Core, EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.).

Strong understanding of backend development and cloud deployment workflows.

Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and manage time effectively.

Eagerness to learn quickly and contribute to a fast-paced development cycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or familiarity with Magistrala or similar IoT management platforms.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and IoT technologies.

Experience with AI tools and frameworks like OpenAI Codex/GPT for Coding is a plus.
