Job Description
We are looking for a talented and competent Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator to work closely with internal and external project teams. Must be experienced at managing the production of high-quality drawings and construction documents for commercial/retail and restaurant projects using REVIT.
In this position you will assists the project manager to develop project documents for bidding and construction; responsible for gathering all essential information which includes specifications, program compliance; building code and agency compliance; schedule commitments; product research.
Able to disseminate all information to project team and communicates regularly with drafting staff and all members during the development of construction documents, providing support and insight to ensure all project requirements are met in a timely manner.
Provide support for any tasks required for the successful completion of the project.
Effectively coordinates the submission of architectural documents to city agencies, including following through with the plan check process and resolving any residual issues.
You must have a keen eye for detail. Experience in the production of CD's. Coach and mentor production staff and ensure the quality and detail of drawings.
Qualifications:
• Education
A bachelor's degree in architecture is preferred, but 7 + years of experience in the industry is acceptable.
• Abilities and skills
Revit experience is required.
MS Window Excel, Word and Outlook, Smartsheet's, Newforma
Proven ability to function in all phases of project development from schematic design through contract administration.
Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of individuals including consultants and contractors.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to effectively supervise and mentor staff Possess excellent communications skills.
Speak, read, and write English proficiently.
