In-Community Counselors provide therapeutic services to the IDD population and their families in their respective communitiestues This is a great opportunity for professionals who are looking for a flexible, part-time, per diem, work schedule. Intensive In-Community (IIC) will provide evidence based, emotional and behavioral health services to children and families in their homes or community.Requirements:
Duties and responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based direct in-home/community clinical services to children and adolescents who have emotional and/or behavioral needs.
Develop and document treatment plans and encounter notes in timely manner.
Participate in meeting such as Child Family Team (CFT) meetings, care coordination meetings, etc.
Schedule and participate in monthly supervision meeting to discuss case.
Collaborate with case managers to provide appropriate care and/or referrals.
Role requirements:
Must have a professional license: LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMHC
Must have a driver’s license
Must be willing and able to work with families in their homes or in the community
At least 1 year of working with children and adolescents (Recommended, not required)
