Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Product Manager to join our team in Everett, Washington. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting an Aircraft Interiors Program team. The ideal candidate will lead and manage all program phases, including development, qualification testing, and delivery of certified products. In this position, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Develop strong partnerships with internal teams organized into integrated product teams to enhance program outcomes.
• Coordinate and oversee daily program activities, including schedule management, customer reviews, and program management reviews.
• Prepare, update, and monitor program documentation in accordance with contract requirements and organizational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to prioritize and address issues to meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including financial, technical, and schedule performance.
• Provide guidance on risk and opportunity management strategies to program leads.
• Lead or participate in key activities such as financial reporting and decision-making processes.
• Organize and support program reviews, team meetings, and customer visits to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Represent customer needs and expectations effectively to internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, fostering trust and satisfaction.• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience in program or project management.
• Proven experience in leading and managing programs, including transitioning them from development to production.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Familiarity with financial analysis tools and systems.
• Expertise in Earned Value Management and risk/opportunity management.
• Proficiency in widely used office productivity software, including project management tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve program goals.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
