The Driver will operate commercial vehicles while towing trailers from specified locations with company products to various delivery locations such as job sites, branches, residential homes, and businesses.

Expectations for your Role
Maintenance and inspections.
Perform, record, and submit daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections per Federal and State Regulations as well as Company Processes and Procedures.
Identify defects or deficiencies and submit work orders through QR codes including scheduled maintenance as prescribed by Maintenance and/or Logistics Departments.
Keep vehicle clean and operational.
Perform minor emergency repairs as necessary i.e., changing tires, replacing fuses or bulbs, and replacing straps.
Vehicle Operation.
Safely and legally operate commercial vehicles per Federal, State and local guidelines and regulations.
Utilize Electronic Logging Device to operate within the prescribed Hours of Service regulations accurately and legally as defined by FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and Florida law.
Report accidents, traffic citations, traffic delays, incidents, material or property damage, or any other transportation situations to Logistics Team Leader or Driver Lead immediately.
Delivery.
Read delivery sheets and sales orders to verify all items in their correct quantities are present, including, use of a tape measure to verify dimensions of certain items prior to departing home terminal for scheduled deliveries.
Communicate with customers in person and on the phone to confirm the address and delivery window, ascertain any special delivery instructions and politely answer any questions about the delivery.
Safely and efficiently maneuver truck and trailer through small openings, around objects and back into tight places without damaging company equipment, private property, and/or materials.
Unload items safely while using a knuckle boom crane or Moffett type forklift.
Confirm correct quantities and profiles of material delivered using driver sheets and/or sales orders and delivery management. Attach pictures of all items delivered.
Present invoices/sales orders to customer. Collect all monies due on Cash on Delivery or COD orders prior to unloading.
Submit monies received with documents identifying which sales orders those monies should be applied to.
Success in this role will be determined by the following measurables.
Adhering to all Federal, State and local laws and regulations including Hours of Service regulations.
Accurate and complete delivery of orders within specified delivery windows.
Reporting all maintenance defects and deficiencies as well as scheduled services.
Maintaining cleanliness of any vehicle used whether assigned or not.
Maintaining an accurate and current status on delivery management apps.
Adherence to all TCM policies and procedures.
Role Requirements
Skills Needed.
Able to read a map, follow written and GPS directions.
Able to follow instructions.
Possess a basic understanding of the operation of common electronic devices such as smart phones and apps.
Ability to maneuver a large trailer through small openings, around objects and back into tight places without damaging vehicle, trailer, or items nearby.
Communicate with customers in person and on the phone with ability to politely answer questions concerning items delivered.
Unload items safely while following company safety procedures and taking every precaution to not harm oneself, others around you or the products intended for delivery.
Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, additional straps on loads, etc.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted.
Education/Experience Required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of proven experience in logistics.
Valid Class A CDL.
Current Medical Certificate.
26 years old for driving purposes.
Full-time
