Data Analyst

Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data insights to stakeholders, ensuring data integrity and actionable reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct full lifecycle data analysis from requirements gathering to design and implementation.

Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and generate actionable reports.

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Acquire data from primary and secondary sources; maintain databases and data systems.

Clean, filter, and validate data by reviewing reports and performance indicators.

Design and create dashboards, visualizations, and ad hoc reports.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support their data needs.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.

Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.

Proficient in SQL and database management.

Strong knowledge of data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

Familiarity with reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects), and statistical packages (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS).

Programming skills in XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks are a plus.

Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Skilled in report writing, data visualization, and presenting findings clearly to stakeholders.
