Electronic Engineer II

Monaco Enterprises, Inc., a Spokane based manufacturer of fire, mass notification, and security alarm systems, is seeking a professional, result-oriented, enthusiastic candidate to participate in designing, developing, and documenting electronic products, systems and circuits.

Job Responsibilities:

Analog and digital electronic circuit design

Surface mount and multilayer PCB design

Embedded microcontroller and microprocessor integration

Troubleshooting and analysis of electronic systems and circuits

Create technical documentation and specifications

Develop test plans and test fixtures for production

Sustain existing products to enable continued production capabilities

Provide technical assistance to customer support and sales groups

Conceive of and implement architecture for projects

Job Requirements:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field of study

3+ years experience in related field of study

Proficiency in ECAD tools such as OrCAD, Altium

Sound knowledge of board fabrication and design

Design experience in digital, analog, power conversion, and embedded design

Experience in system level or product level architecture

Preferred Skills:

M.S. or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering

Competency in industry codes and standards including NFPA 72, UL 864, FM 3010

Competency in OrCAD ECAD tools and design flow

3-5 years minimum experience in digital, analog, power conversion, AND embedded design

3-5 years in system level or product level architecture

Most hours spent standing and sitting. Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds. Constant fine finger manipulation, talking, hearing, and seeing.
